REDZ PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT: SCENARIO GEAR
Redz International today announced the development and imminent release of new products specifically made for long-format and scenario paintball games. Redz designed and is producing a soft, flexible, camouflage Chest Protector and an additional Flex-Tech Pack, the FT-919. Redz developed these products to be worn all day. Extra attention was paid to the
materials used, how the gear would be constructed, maintaining comfort during long-format games, and most importantly ensuring prices that would appeal to everyone.
The Field Gear Chest Protector is the first of its kind, employing several layers of material on top of one another with the goals of protection, breathability on hot days, and long-term comfort in mind. Redz added snug straps, similar to the ones on Redz’ venerable eNVy Packs, to help lock the chest protector onto the torso, fitting youths and adults alike. With its high quality components, layers of protection, and adjustability for comfort, the Field Gear Chest Protector is a great choice for anyone who wants to take the “pain” out of “paintball” and play all day long.
In 2007, Redz polled members of some of our sponsored scenario teams, took their input, and built a pack that met their specific needs. Scenario format teams like Pub Crawling and Horror Show play in fields that cover acres and acres, and they tend to keep their empty pods after using them instead of tossing them aside. Scenario games also tend to last several hours to several days, and so extended comfort was a must. Redz’ answer was the Flex-Tech 919, which sports six vertical pouches and an extensive back support system with snug straps that reduce bounce and maintain comfort.
